About VoltCharge
Building the future of EV charging infrastructure
We started in 2019 with one conviction: the thing holding back electric vehicles in India was not the cars. It was whether you could count on a charger being there, and working, when you arrived.

01Who we are
An infrastructure company, first
VoltCharge designs, funds, installs and operates charging sites. We are not a hardware reseller and not an app company — the software exists because someone has to keep several hundred pieces of grid-connected equipment working in public, in Indian weather, without anyone on site.
That shapes most of our decisions. We over-specify the electrical supply because retrofitting it later costs more than doing it once. We put two dispensers on corridor sites even when one would pay back faster. We publish availability that reflects the equipment’s real state rather than what makes the map look busy.

02Mission & vision
Make charging a non-decision
Nobody plans a journey around petrol pumps. Our mission is to get electric charging to that same level of ordinariness — dense enough, reliable enough and clear enough on price that it stops being a factor in what car someone buys.
Where we are going
Coverage across every major intercity corridor, charging available at the buildings people already visit, and a network whose uptime is dull enough that nobody thinks about it.

03What we hold to
Our values
Five things we check work against — in that order, when they conflict.
- 01
Innovation
We ship improvements to the platform on a fortnightly cycle, and we test them on our own sites first.
- 02
Reliability
A charger that is offline is worse than no charger at all. Uptime is the number we are judged on.
- 03
Sustainability
The commercial case and the environmental case have to hold together, or neither one lasts.
- 04
Customer First
Drivers, host sites and fleet operators want different things. We design for all three explicitly.
- 05
Integrity
Clear tariffs, honest availability data and no surprise charges on the invoice.

04Why VoltCharge
One team from survey to service call
Technology
An OCPP platform we build in-house, so a fault on a charger becomes a ticket with a diagnosis rather than a phone call to a vendor.
Sustainability
Sites specified to take renewable supply where the grid connection allows, and load-balanced so buildings rarely need a service upgrade.
Network growth
New points added where utilisation data shows demand, with headroom designed into the original supply so expansion is a day's work.
Milestones
2019
Founded
Six people and a plan to make charging boringly dependable.
2021
First corridor
Delhi–Jaipur fast charging corridor commissioned end to end.
2023
Fleet platform
Depot scheduling and per-vehicle reporting released to operators.
2025
Network scale
Coverage across metro, tier-2 and intercity corridor locations.
Work with us on your site
Whether you are electrifying a fleet or adding charging to a property you own, the conversation starts the same way — with the site and the supply.
